Charles E. Williams, 83, died June 27, 2012 at his residence in Vero Beach.
He was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and lived in Vero Beach for 42 years coming from Broadview, Illinois.
He was a supervisor for Western Electric Company, retiring in 1983.
He served in the US Army during the Korean War earning the Korean Service Medal with a Bronze Star and the United Nations Service Medal.
He was a member of the Italian American Club of Vero Beach and the Korean War Veterans.
He is survived by his son, David Williams of Vero Beach.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 44 years Laura in 1995
.
Memorial contributions may be made to the National Stroke Association, 9707 East Easter Lane, Centennial, CO 80112, in memory of Mr. Williams.
SERVICES: A Graveside Service will be held 11:00 am, July 2, 2012 at Crestlawn Cemetery Vero Beach, Florida with Rev. Clifford V. Melvin of Christ By The Sea United Methodist Church officiating.
